Solving CWD through Breeding | The Ox Ranch Story

This video is unlike any other CWD video ever produced in that it features one deer breeding facility that had a known CWD-positive deer. Rather than the regulatory authorities forcing depopulation of the entire herd (as has been done in the past), an agreement to test for genetic durability is underway and this research project seems to show some amazing things about why some deer get CWD and why others don’t. This research project is being conducted by Ox Ranch Genetics, Texas A&M University, and Dr. Christopher Seabury.
